DVB-T2 Finder is a utility app designed for iPhone users to easily check the availability and quality of DVB-T/T2 signals in their area. With this app, there's no need to search the internet or consult tables to determine if investing in a DVB-T/T2 receiver and antenna is worth it. Simply launch the app and perform a QuickCheck to get all the information you need in just 30 seconds.
The QuickCheck feature scans the surrounding area for DVB-T/T2 transmitters, calculates the distance, and analyzes the geographical features between the transmitter and the receiver. Using this data, along with the transmitter's parameters such as frequency, transmission power, horizontal/vertical radiation characteristics, and mast height, the app calculates the signal strength at your location and provides a user-friendly "clear-text forecast." Please note that the QuickCheck does not take antenna properties into account, as it assumes you may not have an antenna yet.
In addition to the clear-text forecast, the app also recommends the best transmitter location for optimal reception. You can select this location from the "Sender" menu.
